“HG Wells meets the Marx brothers with a touch of Monty Python thrown in.”

Liverpool Daily Post

“Pleasantly silly.”

The Stage

Powered by steam. Steered by guesswork. Driven by idiots. What could possibly go wrong...?

Treading, boldly, in the footsteps of Jules Verne, H.G.Wells and Laika the dog the Rejects take you on a journey to the centre of the universe. Join the crew of the world's first steam powered space craft as it leaves this vale of tears and heads, unfeasibly, to Paradise.

In spring 2008 the company will be setting off on its 13th (lucky for us) UK tour with this brand spanking new show.

Co-directed by Ann Farrar and Tim Hibberd. Written by Tim Hibberd, designed by Nicolai Hart-Hansen (Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Court), Music by Andy Frizell (The Steppe Brothers, Rejects’ Canterbury Tales), Lighting and film by Mike Wight (most of all the others) ‘Here be Monsters…’ will utilise the performing prowess of Liam Tobin (Peasouper, The Steppe Brothers) and Sean Kearney (Out of the Blue).

Be prepared for film, music, sight gags, silliness and asteroid belts as The Rejects launch, literally, into uncharted territory...
